Welcome, my dear Killer Bs, to the all-new and completely re-imagined Fitness Matters podcast! You might call it the podcast formerly known as Let’s RUN (I hope my friends who were around when Prince changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol will appreciate that reference!)

The latest episode might catch you by surprise, because, yes, there are some big changes:

  • The podcast has a new name and new cover art
  • There’s no running! Or walking! Or exercising at all (unless you want to)!
  • There’s a video, but it’s basically still just a podcast, since the image on-screen is the thumbnail.
  • It comes out on Sundays!

There is also plenty about the podcast that’s staying the same:

  • We’re still talking about the fitness matters that matter to YOU
  • It’s still just me, chatting about stuff off the top of my head (I briefly contemplated doing research and writing a script and trying to be all professional, and then I laughed at myself – that’s not how I roll!)

So… why all the changes?

Well, I explain it pretty thoroughly during this first episode. (Don’t wanna listen? Download the transcript here)

But in a nutshell, it was time to make up my mind!

With the “old” podcast, I was trying to achieve two goals at once, and if you know anything about my fitness advice, you know that that’s always a recipe for NOT achieving ANYTHING!

I had to choose: teach you how to run or talk about your fitness mindset and how much that matters.

I chose mindset matters.

I also chose to teach you to run. But that’s a different podcast, and we’ll talk about that on another day! 🙂

For right now, let’s stick with this episode and how you know when it’s time to CHANGE YOUR MIND.
